Costs and Claims under £10,000
Where your claim is worth under £10,000:
Cases worth under £10,000 (with the exception of personal injury claims) will be dealt with in the Small Claims Court. This means that you will not be able to recover the costs you incur with a solicitor, even if you win. In this situation, we offer a package, whereby we will meet with you for an hour’s consultation, advise you on the merits and pitfalls of your case and provide you with a guide to issuing and conducting proceedings in the Small Claims Court. This service is offered for the sum of £500 plus VAT. If you choose to conduct proceedings in person, then we are happy to be on hand to assist with any queries you may have, or to provide representation at any Court Hearings.
